Memorable moments in 2019
AMTS 2019, Shanghai International Automobile Manufacturing Technology & Material Show, hosted / welcomed 622 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions, displaying (the latest products and technologies) to 78,736 professional visitors across a nearly 100,000-square meter exhibition area. / show floor.
More than 20 concurrently-held seminars, live forums and interactive activities attracted 3,482 automotive engineering experts and scholars to discuss the innovation and development of the automotive manufacturing industry.

The power of technology is still surging forward
■ Riveting solutions for auto beams unveiled by FMF SINOMACH brought (fresh) new ideas to commercial vehicle engineering.
■ In the welding and laser engineering sector, Han's Laser launched its first intelligent welding production line, which not only marked another development milestone in the field of automobile welding, but further promoted the development of lightweight and new energy vehicles.
■ TRUMPF showcased cutting-edge laser processing solutions for new energy vehicle EIC systems and unveiled its high-power 1kW continuous green disc laser, starting a new era in / changing the face of copper materials' welding.
■ For the first time ever, MINO landed in the AMTS digital mobile showroom, which can flexibly responded to customer needs, and went deep into the customer site to create value for customers based on a deep understanding of the needs.
MINO has continued to make progress in promoting intelligence and digitalization areas. In September 2019, MINO reached a cooperation with Siemens for the application of artificial intelligence and cutting-edge computing technology to form a more optimized automotive resistance welding solution by monitoring and predicting welding processes and future operating data, and reducing end-user operating costs. Both sides have also recognized the processing parts based on the artificial intelligence model of the virtual digital model to realize the automation of the manual sorting process of the factory logistics.
■ In the quality control and testing engineering sector, Nikon's online body-in-white inspection Laser Radar provided real-time feedback during the production process, consolidating the safety of automobile manufacturing.

■ Multi-site tour
AMTS 2020 will open a multi-site tour mode and will be entering more core markets of the automotive engineering industry, including Shanghai, Chongqing, Thailand, Brazil, Germany and India.
